It’s Zsuzsánna here from the 2020 Artisan Design Team, and I’m a demonstrator from Austria. Today I would like to show you how versatile the In Good Taste SuiteCollection (item 154147) from the 2020–2021 Annual Catalog is.
I’ll start with a mini album, which looks a bit like a box. I simply wrapped the chipboard with Gray Granite Cardstock (item 146983), then adhered In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (item 152494) on top, plus a wooden embellishment.
I closed the mini album with white ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (item 153620) and the 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Faux Suede Trim (item 152472) in Early Espresso. I decorated the cover of the mini album with flowers from the Tasteful TouchesStamp Set (item 152562), which I colored with Stampin’ Blends in Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo. For the leaves I used the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle (item 154065) and colored them with Stampin’ Blends, too. For the sentiment on the cover I used the Tasteful Touches Bundle (item 154098). For further decoration I used Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (item 152493) and In Good Taste Elements (item 152476).
If you open the album, you will find a pocket on the left side, which I made with the Stitched TrianglesDies (item 152710). You will also see two additional pieces that you can unfold.
The mini album consists of three pages that you can unfold to add photos. For the binding and the page, I used Whisper White Cardstock (item 100730).
To create the pages, I used Vellum Cardstock (item 101856), Night of Navy Cardstock (item 100867), and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718).
The great thing about making mini albums is that there are no limits to being creative or to decorating. I stamped all the pages with the Tasteful TouchesStamp Set (item 152562). On the bottom of the unfolded piece of the cover I created a pocket using the Stitched TrianglesDies (item 152710). In these pockets and in the pockets on the left side of the cover you can insert tags and/or pictures.
All pages have two pockets where you can insert tags for more pictures or for journaling. For the tags I used Whisper White Thick Cardstock (item 140272).
With the scraps from the mini album you can create further projects like a card or a gift. I created the card with the Tasteful Touches Bundle (item 154098) and Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (item 152718) and decorated it like the cover of the mini album.
For this sweet gift I used the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags (item 153509) from the August–December 2020 Mini Catalog. For the tag, I also used the Tasteful Touches Bundle (item 154098).
Short tutorial for the minialbum:
You need chipboard in the size: 4 pieces 6″ x 2″, 2 pieces 6″ x 6 „, 1 piece 6″ x 4 3/8″ and 1 piece 6″ x 2 3/8″. Combine all pieces with Tyvek, but be sure that you left between the pieces 1/4″ space minimum. For the wrapping you need cardstock. For the middle section you need am piece of cardstock in the size 8″ x 8“. Glue it on the middle section (outside). Please use a Tear & Tape Adhesive. Cut a dioagonal in the cardstock, which don’t cover the chipboard. So you have 2 triangles on each for edges. Bend the triangles to the inner part and glut it on the chipboard. Now wrap all the siede pieces, but online outside. After you finished, you can ad the Desiegnerpaper to the outside and inner part.
For the binding I used the „Hidden Hinge“-Binding. You need a piece of cardstock in the size 5 7/8 x 8″. Score it at 1 1/2″ and then every 1/2″. The last score is at 6 1/2″.
On Youtube you can find videos to how to build the hinges.
I hope I could inspired you and give you some ideas to create great projects with the In Good Taste Suite (item 154147). With this suite is every project possible. I would love to see your creation with this great suite.
